Your Conchquistador Now Has His Own Radio Show ... Hope The FCC Isn't Listening!!

Radio.

Theater of the Mind.  Descriptions and melodies that can evoke and create life long and meaningful memories.
It can keep you company like just about no other medium can.

As a Kid when I lived in Miami, I would listen to the one Keys Station that I could barely receive, so I could just hear (through the static) the commercials and listen to them talk about the places that I would go with my family, relishing all The Key-z-ness they had to offer, evoking those sentiments of so many days frolicking in the stunning and majestic waters. Striking the chord.

Fast forward way too many years later, and I have been fortunate to
have a fantastic relationship with our local station, WFKZ, Sun 103 FM.  Privileged to sponsor, for years, their weeknight talk shows coming from our coolest waterfront lounges. And quite often joining them on air to talk about and share my insights and experience regarding our

local real estate market, showcase Sellers' properties and to give the audience a Conchquistador's perspective of our unique lifestyle. Sponsorships, I look forward for years to come.

What this all comes to is that the Folks at Radio A1A have asked yours truly to develop a Florida Keys based Real Estate Radio Show!  How Cool is That!! Broadcast Worldwide!

So, of course, not at all content with doing a dry, stuffy real estate show, I have teamed up with my good friend and colleague, Mark Mills to create, The Florida Keys Real Estate Guys Live!!

The Florida Keys Real Estate Guys concept is something that Mark and I have been working on for quite a while, as we work together on quite a few transactions and created a custom Facebook Page to that effect, which has garnered us an impressive following.

So it was only natural to flesh this out into a show.  As well as being a fantastic Real Estate agent, Mark has over 30 years of Broadcasting Experience and of course yours truly loves a Microphone!

Your Conchquistador Celebrates Best Year Yet with 2016 Sales!!!

So, yes, 2016 will, for many people, go down as not one of there most Cherished Years ... (Can you imagine being Mariah Carey right now??!!)  
So many distractions and craziness, and losses of some of our most creative and admired Celebrities and Artists.  Several among whom were very special to me such as Prince, David Bowie, and John  Glenn.

On a different note though, 2016 will forever hold a special place
for your humble Conchquistador, as my BEST Year yet Professionally!!!

In my 22 years of practicing real estate (Holy  @#%, has it really been that long??), 2016 ranks as the year of my greatest $$$$ Production. The privilege or working with the diversity of clientele that entrusted me with their Real Estate Business, was truly the highlight of my Career thus far!

With transactions ranging from a Buildable Lot in Marathon to a Magnificent Custom Ocean Estate on Grassy Key,  and sales ranging from Key Largo to Middle Torch Key in the South, the scope of properties has been really fun to work on.

Also had the opportunity to sell a few Mainland properties as well in Palmetto Bay, The Redland, and Homestead.

Some of the trends for 2017 look pretty interesting. For the most part, we are on what I call a Par market, meaning it's not a solely a buyers or sellers market. That being said, certain parts of the Keys offer certain negotiation advantages to either buyers or sellers depending on their absorption rates. These advantages can even change with different neighborhoods and different price strata. 

Anyway, I'm at stats junkie so forgive me for spouting off crazy numbers as I'm getting all excited about absorption rates. Real Estate Porn.

So whats next??? Well, time to make 2017 my new Best Year!!
