It Was Hawaii or The Keys ...And The Keys It Is!! On Shark Key, My Latest Sale $1,850,000

Very cool story.

My Clients had never visited the Florida Keys before and were considering purchasing a property in Hawaii, which they had
previously visited.  They were told some great things about the Keys and contacted Your Conchquistador to fill them in on our Keys Real Estate options

Well, long story short: They came on their first visit, and in Three Days, under your Conchquistador's spell, looking at properties from Key West to Islamorada, they had a gorgeous estate on super cool Shark Key under contract and have now Closed! 

How could they resist?? The Florida are such a siren song. And as lovely as Hawaii is, it is so much simpler to get to the Keys.  Don't get me wrong. I've been to Hawaii and I loved it, but like so many, so much more enjoy the prettier and more temperate waters of the Atlantic/Caribbean over the Pacific.

Plus, working with yours truly, they got to visit some unique spots, like Robbie's to feed the Tarpon and enjoy a Trailer Trash Bloody Mary, and heard about more Keys history than they ever wanted to hear (LOL).  And at the end of the Day.. They "got it".  I love that moment, when I get to see folks unfamiliar with our Island Chain suddenly "get it"... and fall in love.  It is the most rewarding part of what I do (as I really cant call this a "job").


Now, Shark Key, In my opinion, is one of the absolute coolest of our Keys.  A Super private enclave of only about 60 gorgeous estate homes, just 11 miles from the heart of Key West.  It is an oasis within as oasis, with intoxicating miles-long vistas of ever changing water hues, punctuated with verdant green drops of unpopulated mangrove islands.

Time to lay the smack down! American Caribbean dominates first-quarter sales!

Yeah, OK ... being a little full of ourselves, but hey, as I've been told, "It ain't bragging if it's true"!


I am really fortunate to work with, what I believe are the best colleagues in the business here in the Florida Keys. 
Our company, American Caribbean Real Estate, dominated First-Quarter residential real estate sales in the Upper Keys. 
As you'll see in the graph below, and yes, we do need names (mm hmm, that's right), our firm had a commanding lead over all of the other companies. And yes, this includes the huge national companies and franchises.

I've always preferred to work with locally owned companies. There's just a groundedness I find, and an awareness and an ability to react to the local market, that you just don't get with that huge national real estate firms, like those with blue and white logos, and gold jackets. Wait, did I go there?? Yes, yes I did.
